I originally purchased this hat for myself, however, whenever my wife saw it she immediately "stole" it and has been so delighted with the quality and sun protection, I decided to purchase another one for me. I use mine while mowing our 40 acres of grass. We have had over a month of 100 degree plus brutal sunny weather but the Outback hat has kept us both cool and well shaded. Well pleased
