This is a great shade hat, with insect repellent incorporated into the fabric. The one thing that keeps this from being a five-star product is the fact that it's plastic and paper woven together, which means that it does not have as much "breathability" as I would like. Will need to find a good "sweatband" with this hat for hot climates. Otherwise, it gives great shade and protection and is comfortable and good-looking.

No bugs flying around my head when I have this hat on. We live in far south Louisiana so mosquitoes, etc. can be quite a problem.... love this hat! Lightweight and good sun protection, too.
