What's the BuzzOff™ secret?
The Original BuzzOff™ Outdoor Wear is made of a unique, very high quality polyester mesh that creates a powerful barrier against mosquitoes, ticks, spiders, and even no-see-ums.
100% Made in U.S.A. BuzzOff™ Outdoor Wear starts with best mesh, then improves on this value, by building in strong reinforced seams, double layers in critical areas and by using wide wrist, waist and collar elastic. The Ultimate Jacket features quality not found in competitive products, such as a YKK zippers, and pockets and elbows made of Cordura® nylon for durability and water repellency.
Effective: The BuzzOff™ Ultimate Jacket has been in use for more than a dozen years. When Hurricane Andrew hit Florida, Federal Officials turned to the "Ultimate Jacket" for insect protection in the Everglades National Park. This is the same jacket worn by NASA at bug infested Cape Canaveral.
Quality Design: The "Ultimate Jacket" was designed and field tested in conjunction with Duncan Barnes, Editor of Field & Stream Magazine and worn on their "Legend Show" in Labrador.

The mosquitos have been absolutley horrible this year at our house. We are surrounded by woods on 3 sides but they have never been this bad. We have to wear the netting (the head netting too) for walking the dog, working out in the yard, etc. They work pretty well but my husband says the mosquitos are so persisitent that they find spots where the netting is close enough to the skin to get through. But they do a great job in spite of that and make it possible for us to be outside. I would buy them again.

used it fishing in Canada to keep black flies off. I found that the neck could have been a tighter fit. It is warmer than I thought a mess would be, that's not bad. I think the jacket might have worked better unless you have a long head net that would tuck into the collar.

This worked very well with the pants to avoid insect bites on a trip to Africa and allowed me to wear short sleeves and shorts in such a hot climate.

I use the BuzzOff Shirt while gardening on 1-1/2 acres. It is lightweight, comfortable, and definitely prevents mosquitoes from biting. I was not happy with the BuzzOff Hat, though, as I didn't feel I could see through it as well as expected.

I have the shirt, pants and socks. So far, I have had no problems with ticks, chiggars, etc even tho I wear them in dense woods where I usually get any number of irritating bugs. I love them. I would like to find a good hat of the same type
