This is the best pith helmet on the market today! My dad needs to wear a hat whenever he's in the sun (due to his skin cancer susceptibility) and for over 20 years his preference has been this hat. It's light and cool, and a really great look as well! He lost one several years back so I ordered a replacement (only one I could find then) that looked very similar. Now he's lost that one, too, so I ordered this one from you, and he is SO delighted! - He says it's SOOOO much more comfortable (has a soft adjustable band to fit different head sizes inside) and it's like the one he's always loved (which we originally got at Epcot/Disney!) So brands DO matter and this one is best! Bought the Classic White but considering buying the other 2 colors - just because he loves these so much! (plus then I can wear one!) Considering one? Buy it, you'll be glad you did!

I took this hat to Africa with me and it was great! Kept my head shaded and cool even in the desert.

This is my second Sunfari Hat. The first one gave up the ghost after decades of use, mainly doing yard work & outside DIY projects. Its light weight, perimeter brim (for shade) and mesh construction (for ventilation) make it an ideal headgear for Texas summers.

i do a lot of outdoor gardening and wanted an effective sun shading hat - one that would really protect me from the sunlight, as well as being cool (temperature-wise, that is). So far, we have not had too many clear, warm sunny days, but, on those days that we thought Spring had come and were in short sleeves, this Sun Hat delivered. It is very light weight and effectively keeps the sun off. I like the fact that the hat rides above my head due to the sizing mechanism. The brim could be a bit broader, although it is as broad as my two older straw hats.
