Select Muck Boot sizes based on your standard "athletic" shoe size. Muck Boots are made to standard US sizes for men and women. Boots and shoes are available in "whole sizes" only. True half sizes - use the next size up. The best fit is achieved by wearing a medium-weight athletic sock.

I live in an urban area and don't own a car. I purchased my Muck Boots as rain boots to wear when I walk to work, and I have been very pleased. I was a little concerned that the traction on the soles wouldn't work as well on wet sidewalks since they were designed for fields, but I feel very safe when walking on slippery surfaces wearing my boots. I walk through puddles and running water where drainage is poor, and my feet and pants stay dry. The outsides of the boots dry very quickly, which is helpful since I leave the boots under my desk at work. They're also surprisingly cool -- I've been wearing them outside in the South in the late spring, and my feet don't overheat. I am exceptionally pleased with my purchase, and have recommended Muck Boots to several friends already.

I bought the Hoser Classic after our house burned to the ground February 18 and we lost everything. We have a small horse farm and I knew I'd need something that could get me through the mud and muck of the coming months. But I also use them when sifting through the ashes. Their thick soles protect me from metal shards and nails and they rinse off easily with the hose. So far I'm very impressed with them. They are extremely comfortable and warm too. Have always worn the Muck shoe in the past but love this 12 in. mid boot heighth for the winter and springs seasons.

I got these boots for walking the dog and cleaning up the yard and garden. The melt this year produced enormous puddles and I stomped right through them with my toasty warm and dry feet. Love 'em!
