I have used the harvester for picking beans and okra, so used the cross-the-body strap. It is very handy to have both hands free, particularly with things that require cutting from the stalk. The mesh bottom is genius- much of the debris and dirt can fall right through. It also folds nicely when you're done. My only caution is that it is rather large, and so gets very heavy and hard on the shoulder & neck if it isn't emptied often. I would definitely recommend it for things you can pick while standing, but would also like to see a smaller size.
